Week 14: May 3- 7

This week I got very close to finishing the Grad spreads. ALL I NEED NOW are 5 people to give me their write ups. It looks like I'm going on a wild goose hunt! AAH. This week I got to hang out with my friends alot. Thursday I saw Wizard of Oz done by the Musical Comedy Guild. The special effects were very... extravagant. And of course my best friends did an amazing job. Its too bad I didn't make it into this show, but I guess that's show business!

In class I also finished up my "green spread" except for a couple of names. I also made a NEW layout for yearbook so that we can know what pages are done and which aren't (because our layout sheet is a little ... busy and full. Basically all I did this week was finish those spreads. Wednesday while the rest of the class was taking "Pow Wow" photos, I was busy working on the grad spreads. Monday of this week was Music Monday. This means that every music student at Korah got out of class to sing/play a song called "Sing Sing" by Serena Ryder. While nearly every music student at Korah was participating, 3.5 other million people in the world were singing/playing this song at the exact same time. Music Monday is to show the education system that Music is a very important facet in education and every day life - and funding shouldn't be cut so short! Thursday of this week (for education week) we got to sing all day at the mall. We sang for 2 hours straight NON STOP! It was amazing. My favourite part was when the entire mall stood still while we sang a favourite of the Soo: Don't Stop Believin' which turned out amazing. I'm glad we went to sing at the mall to show how important music is in our lives.

Anyways... Attached are some pictures taken by other people of Music Monday and singing in the mall.
